What To Do When You Have Labour Signs

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿป Shower before going to the hospital if you can! If you’re outside and your cramps are very bad / bleeding / any abnormal signs common sense to go to hospital straight.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปBring hospital bag. If you are doing cord blood banking, bring the box that they will give you during your sign up.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปGo to the labour / delivery ward. They will check if you’re dilated.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปIf you’re in labour, daddy needs to register you at front desk.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปMommy try to calm down.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปThey will ask if you want the Enema. Say yes duh.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปWay before this special day, you should already think / research about how natural you want the delivery to be. Your mind will not be clear when you’re having contractions! Then again, you may decide you want epidural before D-day then realise you want to go all natural that day. Whatever you decide, to prevent more chaos and emotion overwhelm, decide asap and try to stick to it.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปIf you want epidural, the earlier the better (according to my anesthesiologist). If you’re very scared, ask for the laughing gas. I didn’t feel a thing cos I was so high on laughing gas.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปDaddy call confinement nanny to inform her mommy is in labour

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปDaddy call cord blood banking person to inform mommy is in labour and pass that box you brought to the nurse (she will ask you for it when you admit anyway)

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸปIf you’re doing placenta pills, call that person in charge to inform. They will come collect it from daddy. Just pay for the 24 hour collection. (If not you have to store it in an ice box and hold mommy’s placenta for several hours)
